Shibari/Kinbaku Lecture and Art Exhibition

Shibari/Kinbaku Lecture and Art Exhibition by world renowned Kinbaku artist and photographer Master “K.” In a rare public appearance, Master “K”, author of the pioneering book, Shibari, the Art of Japanese Bondage, will be giving a lecture on the history and development of Kinbaku as an erotic art form in Japan and the US. He will also put up for exhibition part of his collection of Shibari and Kinbaku art and photographs, including 19th century art from such masters as Yoshitoshi Tsukioka, along with many of his own works. His collection of historic and artistic materials related to Shibari and Kinbaku are known to be the largest in North America numbering almost a thousand items. Included in this event will be live demonstrations of his work and plenty of time for talking with the artist. This event is sponsored by his student, M.Yu, and will be held in San Diego CA. It includes a full Japanese buffet and liquid refreshments.
